Guatemala is home to over 300 micro-climates and many active volcanoes. The El Dorado Estate is blessed to be located in an area with ideal weather conditions, and rich volcanic soil producing a high quality coffee.  Our farm is 6,250ft up on the hillsides of San Rafael Las Flores, Santa Rosa. Shaded by over 300+ avocado trees our young plants are lush with foliage and produce an abundance of coffee cherries. 

Quality is our first priority. We strive to offer the highest quality possible. After the coffee is harvested, washed, and patio dried, they are double polished, checked for defects, sorted by size, and bagged for export; never leaving the farm. This way we can ensure the quality of our product has never been compromised and proudly stand behind our promise, guaranteeing its specialty S-score has been maintained. 

Raul and his family have been growing coffee for several decades and hope it can continue to future generations. Golden Grounds LLC located in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, is a woman owned company, importing, roasting and selling raw or roasted coffee, only from Finca El Dorado. With these type of direct connections from grower to retailer, the farmer is ensured to get the most profit from the product, enabling them to pay the workers a fair wage for their work, supporting local families in the community.
